Opening times & fees
At The Nursery, we understand everyone has different requirements. Whether you want to be here for a day each week, or enjoy the fun full time, we have a plan that will suit you. We care for children from the age of 6 weeks up to 5 years.
We work with you to find a plan to fit your lifestyle and needs, including flexible pre-bookable sessions for individual key worker shift patterns, tailoring your child’s care to your wishes. Therefore, there is no standard list of fees for The Nursery. Each childcare plan is personal to you. Contact us to arrange a visit where we can discuss your wishes and create a tailored plan for you.
Opening times & sessions
The Nursery is open from 7.30am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday as standard. We also offer half day sessions from 8am to 12:45pm (including breakfast, snack and lunch), and 1pm to 6pm (including afternoon snack and a hot dinner).
We have a number of fully funded term-time only Pre-School places for children starting school in September 2021, including mornings, afternoons and full days between 8am and 6pm. We can also work with you to maximise your government subsidised funded hours entitlement from the age of 3, whether you are eligible for 15 or 30 hours per week.
In response to the events of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are now offering bespoke flexible session packages for key workers to reflect their own shift patterns, bookable a month in advance, meaning we’re always here in the background while you’re on the front line.
Breakfast club and after-school club places are available for children in Reception and Years 1, 2 and 3, up to the age of 8, attending Portishead Primary School or St Peter’s Church of England Primary School. These wraparound childcare options are perfect for older siblings, giving parents a single drop off point for the beginning and end of each school day. Breakfast club runs from 7.30am – 8.45am and includes breakfast and school drop off. After School Club runs from 3.15pm – 6pm and includes collection from school, a light tea and plenty of fun activities and adventures.
Childcare vouchers and tax-free childcare
We accept all forms of Childcare Vouchers for those already enrolled on a voucher scheme, and can help advise you on how to benefit from the new tax-free childcare programme, subsidised by the Government. We are also able to help you apply for free Early Years Childcare funding, which is currently available to all 3- and 4-year-olds, as well as some 2-year-olds.
We understand it can be confusing to work out which sessions will fit your lifestyle and budget best, so for more information about how we can help your family and what we can do welcome your child, please call us on 01275 402 140, email us, or complete the form below:
