Nursery Assistants and Qualified Nursery Practitioners

The Nursery currently has full time and part time vacancies for Nursery Assistants and Qualified Nursery Practitioners. Whether you are looking for a change of career, are a newly qualified Nursery Practitioner, or you are an experienced Nursery Practitioner looking for that next challenge. The Nursery is an Outstanding childcare setting, located just a stone’s throw from Portishead’s bustling High street, and nestled between the beautiful Lake Grounds and picturesque marina, with excellent transport links being just minutes from the M5.

The Nursery is a place where memorable childhoods are created, offering unique care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, including rooms for all ages, a landscaped garden, a dedicated Teaching Room, a specially-designed sleep room, all equipped with the highest quality resources.

1:1 support role – part-time term-time only

1:1 support role – 9am-3pm (4 days a week) – Term Time Only

The Nursery is seeking a qualified nursery practitioner or a higher level teaching assistant, with a kind, caring, patient nature, to provide 1:1 support for children ages 2-4. If you looking for more hours than advertised or looking for an all year round position, there is the opportunity to work as a nursery assistant or practitioner, outside of the 1:1 hours.

Nursery Housekeeper

The Nursery is seeking a full time or part time housekeeper to join their friendly housekeeping team.

The successful applicant will be hardworking, reliable and caring. The role of Housekeeper is a varied and rewarding role, with daily tasks including:-
– General Cleaning
– Laundry
– Kitchen Support
– Supporting and supervising children before and during mealtimes
