In Farm School, Outings, The Nursery

We’ve had another really exciting week at Farm School! This week we were focussing on our robot friends. The children all had the opportunity to go and see the robots, we spoke about the noises robots make and what the robots do on the farm to help Farmer Ben. We then all came back together at the new Duck Den and made our own robots using nuts and bolts, metal, junk modelling, playdough. This was really fun and all the children enjoyed pretending to be robots following the robot trail.

Each week at Farm School we focus on something new – whether it’s technology being used in agriculture, planting seeds and harvesting crops to learn where our food comes from, or how to care for the animals and nature around us. The children love exploring in the great outdoors, and they all benefit from a greater depth of learning by experiencing all these things first hand. We can’t wait for Farm School each week!
