It was our last week at Farm School for the school year, but we certainly made the most of it! We’re already looking forward to starting up again in September on a Monday, with some new friends joining us.
As it was the ‘last day of term’, we let the children decide themselves what they wanted to do. First, they chose one of their favourite activities – taking Caramel the pony for a walk.
Then we played a bucket and ball game which involved the children throwing the balls into buckets attached to a pallet. They absolutely loved this, and roared with laughter, while also improving the coordination, and nicely taking it in turns.
Finally, they chose to sit on a digger and pretend to drive it – so much fun! The children also made a bed for Beau the farm dog out of hay, straw and sawdust. So comfy!
We’re dreaming of September already…
