We were so lucky to have a visit from Officer George this week! The children we so engaged and had so many questions and things to tell him. They had the opportunity to feel and try on the real police helmet and they couldn’t believe how heavy it was. The children were told all about the uniform a police officer needs to wear and why, what jobs they have to do and very importantly how police officers are there to help us! Officer George read us some books and even left us some to keep in the nursery. What a great experience!
