It was week two of Farm School for Rising Threes and the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
We had a horse and cart ride with caramel the Shetland pony. This encouraged the children to be able to take turns and tolerate delay patiently when their needs weren’t immediately met. Before Caramel was tacked up for the ride we were tasked to brush him and do his hair so that he looked pretty for the photos!
We also continued to talk about the rules on the farm when being around the animals. We met the farm dog, Beau, this week and the children adored her, throwing balls to her and chasing her around the field.
We can’t wait for next week already!
