It wouldn’t be Christmas without seeing a miniature Mary and Joseph surrounded by angels, shepherds, kings … and of course a donkey!
Pre-school and Rising Threes had been practising hard for the big day on Saturday 15th, when they got to perform their nativity play in the beautifully festive setting of Clifton College Chapel – and they didn’t disappoint. Accompanied by a brass quartet from Clifton College’s Upper School, the children sang their hearts out and performed actions to the songs as the Christmas Story unfolded.
Everyone remembered their lines and delivered them with confidence and enthusiasm, while friends and relatives joined in with traditional carols to help them along.
Along the hall, a ‘selfie station’ was busy all morning helping the children create magical memories with their friends, all dressed in colourful, glittering costumes. There was even the occasional ‘blooper’ photo as the laughs came thick and fast!
The staff were so proud of all the children that took part – they showed real enthusiasm and dedication during rehearsals and behaved beautifully throughout the performance.
We’d also like to thank Clifton College for making us so welcome and helping to create such a magical environment for us to celebrate the Christmas season.
